As of Sunday 28th December, the lawns were still covered in snow. It is predicted to remain frosty until New Year's Eve, so I think that's it for the year!
Cathy reports that Charlie says he will try to keep her updated on closures but as a general rule – light frost- wait till it lifts. Hard frost ( soil frozen solid) -wait a couple of days to give the ground time to fully defrost and dry/ settle.
Nottingham took a winning 4-1 lead in the Mary Rose final, with final score 6-1 against Hurlingham. Nottingham were the holders, with Hurlingham having won in 2012.
