The bowling greens are now undergoing maintenance to get them into condition for the Women's World Championship. They are expected to be closed until the start of the season on 11th April.
Lottery Funding for Highfields Park
Nottingham City Council have today announced that its £3.2m bid, to the Parks for People lottery fund, to restore and develop Highfields Park has been successful. The largest part of the project is to de-silt the lake, but the club, which promised support for the bid, will benefit from restoration work on the pavilions and, in particular, relaying the bowling greens as four croquet lawns.
