Seven Nottingham Players in AC World Championship

Seven club members are currently competing in the AC World Championship being held from 15th to 23rd July in London, UK.

In all there are 80 top players from around the globe.

Players who are members of our diverse club (listed alphabetically) representing various countries:

Lorna Dewar (Scotland)

Omied Hallam (Iran)

Rick Harding (Wales)

James will be hoping to go one better than the Opens where he was runner-up, despite facing a larger and somewhat tougher field here.

GC galore!

Barely time to catch our breath after hosting the Open (AC) Championships and we have a varied feat of GC events to look forward to, all well-supported this year.

Wed 12th: B-level tournament
Thurs 13th: C-level tournament
Sun 16th: Club internal GC doubles
Sat 22nd – Sun 23rd: GC Championship
Sat 29th – Sun 30th: CA National GC Doubles Championship

These (apart from 16th) are attracting visiting players from around the country, and the Championships will have some of the very top players.

All events free for public to watch and deserving of club support.
