Three Nottingham players were among the 16 chosen by the Croquet Association's AC Selection Committee to contest this highly regarded event. The field was even stronger than usual this year, featuring three minus players: our squad of Omied Hallam (1), Beatrice McGlen (1.5) and Peter Moore (1.5) could not be expected to shine.
So heartiest congratulations to Beatrice who was this year's runner-up losing to Mike Town (-1) in the final; and to Omied (6/10) and Peter (4/8) who both came close to qualifying for the semis and gained index/ ranking points in the event.
