Paddy Chapman won the AC Open Championship 3-2 against Harry Fisher at Cheltenham, coming back from 2-0 down.  Harry had the first break in the first four games, but Paddy TPO'd him in three of them.  Paddy had previously beaten James Death, the holder, in the quarter finals.

A reminder to club members that some of the club comeptitions are running a bit behind. We hope all members will want to complete their games by the end of the season, and do their best to achieve this. Please be aware that with lawns 6-8 out of action for renovation, with shorter daylight hours, more erratic weather, and with several tournaments and matches scheduled – particularly at weekends, it may become less easy to find a suitable slot.
