Four Nottingham members in AC World Championship

Best wishes to four of our club members who are playing in the World AC Championship in Melbourne, starting on Saturday 15th February.

They are (alphabetically):

  • Ian Burridge (currently 26 in the world rankings),
  • Paddy Chapman, reigning World Champion,
  • James Death (currently 7 in the world rankings), and
  • Alain Giraud (currently 34 in the world rankings).

The event is competed for as individuals, but the our 4 members represent Wales, New Zealand, England and England respectively.

Richard Bilton in GC World Team Championship

Congratulations to Richard Bilton who represented England in Nelson, New Zealand in the GC World Team Championship between 6th and 12th of January 2020. The England team (Bilton, Moberley, Mulliner, Savage) got to the semifianls where they lost to Egypt. New Zealand won the event, and England went on to beat USA 7-2 to take 3rd place.
