Nottinghamshire were declared to have won the first division of the AC Inter-Counties competition, which was played over the late May bank holiday in glorious sunshine … until the final day, which saw the last of the eleven rounds abandoned due to flooding of the lawns at Southwick.

Their team, all but three of whom are members of the Nottingham club, was:

Richard White (C), Keith Aiton, Gary Bennett, Paddy Chapman, James Death, James Hopgood, Patrick Hort and Peter Moore

The final of the 2012 handicap doubles club competition had been held over, but was played on Wednesday evening.  Cathy Turski and James Death won by 2 against Omied Hallam and Dan Greenaway, after Dan's ball had been pegged out.
