Nottingham have four members in the knockout stage of the AC World Championship being played in London this week: Paddy Chapman (the 4th seed), James Death (the 8th), Keith Aiton and Ian Lines.

Two of them survived to the last eight: Paddy beat Pete Trimmer to reach the semi-final, but James lost 3-1 to Reg Bamford.

The Nottingham team of Omied Hallam, Edward Hine and Philippine Geissler have won the 26pt AC East Midlands Federation League for 2013, beating both Leicester and Ashby 3-0. This qualifies Nottingham for the Secretary's Shield competition in 2014, whether or not they win it in 2013.
