Beatrice McGlen presented a cheque for the money raised in connection with the Women's World Championship the club hosted last year to Paul Suckling, a volunteer from Cancer Reseach UK, at the annual dinner.  Thanks to all of those who supported the fundraising.

Congratulations to Miranda Chapman, who was awarded the Nottingham Amateur Sportsperson of the Year title at an awards dinner held at the East Midlands Conference Centre.  There is now a fuller report on the Nottingham Post Website.
