(Some players in the photos are wearing “whites” for tournament play. In normal club play people wear whatever they’re comfortable in.)

Welcome to Nottingham Croquet Club

Nottingham Croquet Club strives to welcome as wide a variety of people as we can to discover and experience this wonderful game.

All ages, all walks of life, all abilities, of any race, colour or creed – we'd like to share this fascinating sport and great facilties with all who are interested in croquet. Even if you don’t feel you’d fit the mould, do give us a try.  You may be pleasantly surprised.   You’ll find a friendly, welcoming, diverse and inclusive club with great facilities, and opportunities to enjoy croquet as a pleasant social game in lovely surroundings or as a highly skilful and challenging competitive sport. As well as casual and club play, we host tournaments of local, national and international significance.

We have recently expanded and upgraded our excellent facilities, and would love to welcome more people to experience this fascinating, enjoyable and unique game, which combines skill and strategy, and can enhance physical, mental and social well-being. 

If you are new to croquet, we hope this website will help you discover this wonderful game, and hope you may also choose to visit us, learn the game, join the club and enjoy our wonderful sport. (Warning. Croquet can become addictive. 🙂 Some of our members become so enthused by the game that they want to give something back and support the club in various voluntary ways.)
